La marche du crabe in our Early learning and childcare centres

La Slague jeunesse is back! We are pleased to announce the return of our artistic program in our early childhood centers.

Au menu: a new outdoor artistic tour from September 9 to 17, 2020! La Slague jeunesse is thrilled to welcome the theatre/circus company La marche du crabe, which offers an immersive experience for toddlers, combining circus, storytelling, song and music.

This short 25 minute performance will be presented outdoors, in our early childhood centre’s playgrounds and/or the school playgrounds.

The performance features a contortionist hanging from an aerial hoop. The movements will be carried by rhymes and songs: some are inspired by literary works, others revisit classics from different countries, while most are original compositions. Whether it’s sung in a ballad, a round or a ‘chanson à répondre’, the choir is the main act!

This tour is presented with safety and comfort in mind. Le Carrefour francophone has developed a plan that is approved by Santé Publique Sudbury & District. Therefore, all performances will take place outdoors and in small groups. Le Carrefour’s staff will ensure that physical distancing is respected.
