We are delighted to announce the official opening of Greater Sudbury’s Place des Arts bookstore-boutique!
But that’s not all …
We are also unveiling the official name of the bookstore-boutique!
Join us on January 26 for a cinq à sept at Place des Arts, and discover with us the beginning of their greatest adventures.
On January 26, the Librairie-Boutique of Place des Arts will officially open its doors!
The bookstore team and its board of directors invite the community to join them in unveiling the official name of the bookstore and the outline of its annual programming.
The event will be held in the Place des Arts foyer and will take the form of a trivia game leading up to the revealing of the official name of the bookstore, adopted following the “Nomme ta Librairie-boutique” competition. The activity will also be an opportunity to present the bookstore’s programming, which will allow the organization to meet its mandates of cultural mediation and francophone ambassador of literature and literacy tailored to its various audiences in Northeastern Ontario.
Finally, the public will have the opportunity to scroll through the books, and get to know the team behind this exceptional project. Appetizers will be served and the Bistro bar will be open.
See you on Friday January 26, 2024 at Place des Arts, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Participants are asked to confirm their attendance on Facebook or by email : librairie-boutique@maplacedesarts.ca.
Located on the ground floor of Place des Arts du Grand Sudbury, the Librairie-boutique offers a selection of French-Canadian, Quebec and international books for adults, youth and French learners, as well as educational materials, games in French for the whole family, and stationery items.
