Dear parents and guardians,
Yesterday, March 12, the Government of Ontario ordered all schools in the province to close starting March 14 and to remain closed until April 5 inclusively, in order to avoid spreading the coronavirus (COVID-19). All school boards in our area will close their schools starting Saturday.
Therefore, Carrefour francophone de Sudbury has been instructed to close all of its child care centres and before-and-after-school programs hosted in CSPGNO, CSCNO and Rainbow Board schools.
All of our child care centres in all schools, as well as our programs at Collège Boréal and our March Break camps, will close starting Saturday, March 14 and will remain closed until Sunday, April 5.
Carrefour francophone will not be billing families during this interruption of services. We will provide further details on billing logistics in the near future
The closure has no effect on registrations for our services. Your spots in our child care centres will be maintained.
We hope that things will quickly return to normal. We realize that our families and partner organizations will be significantly impacted by this closure. Please take heart in knowing that this measure helps to avoid spreading the virus and protects the population. We will also take advantage of this opportunity to thoroughly clean all of our installations.
We receive our instructions from the Ministry of Education, Public Health authorities and our school partners and we follow their recommendations at all times. We firmly believe that these measures will help to protect your family’s health and security.
