We remind you that wearing a mask is mandatory when you drop off and pick up your child from our Early Learning and childcare centre.
It is proven that people can be infected with the virus without knowing it. Thus, as a matter of principle, all parents and guardians should wear a mask when approaching the building.
Wearing a mask is not only required by le Carrefour francophone. Compliance with this measure is also expected from the Sudbury and District Health Unit, the Ministry of Education and the Government of Ontario.
On November 13, the Government of Ontario announced that the Greater Sudbury area was moved to the yellow zone, which is the protection zone. This is why we ask you to be particularly vigilant and rigorous.
If you forget your mask at home, it is possible to cover your face with a scarf or another similar material. If you have difficulty breathing with a mask, it is recommended to wear a protective visor. The chosen protective equipment should cover your nose and mouth.
In addition to wearing a face cover, we also ask you to respect physical distancing, to wash your hands frequently, and not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth before washing your hands. Continue to monitor your family for symptoms of COVID-19 and to stay home when you’re feeling sick.
We thank you very much for your understanding. We’re able to provide safe childcare through our collective action. If you have any questions, you can write to us at info@carrefour.ca.
Cordially,
Sara Fudge
Director, Childhood Services
