The summer of ’22 will memorable for lucky kids who get to spend time at a Carrefour summer camp! Every day, they will get to decide something very important: “How do you want to have fun today?”
This summer, our series of camps isn’t designed around a schedule of weekly themes. Instead, each camp is based on free play and exploration in all sorts of directions at once!
This summer, we won’t have as many different locations as in the past. That means we can sometimes bring together larger groups of kids and create a big summer festival atmosphere!
This summer, each camp will offer several activity centres all at once, with many new additions from one week to the next. Kids will get to choose what they like best in a menu of options for their morning and afternoon fun.
This summer, every camp will include larger festive gatherings, in addition to smaller group activities.
And this summer, as always, our camp leaders are skilled artists and experts who know how to get kids into it!
Camp activities will be tailored to two age groups:
So, what you won’t see this year is our usual eight-week list of camp themes. This summer, every week and every day of camp will be a different experience!
In fact, there will be just one camp with a specific theme this summer: that’s our theatre arts camp, “Le Grand Camp de théâtre.” It’s also the only camp that last two weeks.
As we are a licensed program, we follow the Ministry of Education’s policies and guidelines along with Public Health regulations.
For more information, please read the resources on the parent-friendly handbook page.
All in all, ON JOUE BEAUCOUP, en français!
After two years of lockdown and more than enough screen time, kids feel the need to let loose! So, we’ve designed outdoor summer camps with lots of opportunities for free play and informal socializing. Kids know how to play, so we’ll let them play. And the activities we provide will be learning experiences, even if they don’t seem to be!
Being active is central to a child’s well-being. We will send children outside every morning and afternoon to spend their energy on the options they choose from our menu of fun activities.
Eating well is another key part of a child well-being. Included in our camp fees are eco-friendly meals and snacks, often served outdoors.
Registering your child between the ages of 5 and 12 at Carrefour francophone’s Summer Camps is giving them the best gift of all: summer fun in an enriching and unforgettable cultural context. The camps are led by animators who love to share the summer fun with your little ones.Registrations
