Summer Camps at Pavillon de l'avenir

The summer of 2024 promises memorable experiences for the lucky children taking part in the Carrefour francophone Summer Camps! This summer, the Camps du Carrefour team is challenging kids to “Decide for yourself how much fun you are going to have today! After the success of last year’s camps, we’ve decided to repeat the same formula for the 2024 camps!

This year, we are ditching the structured schedules and camp-specific themes. Instead, each camp is all about free play and exploration in all sorts of directions!

This year, each camp will have several diversified and often renewed activity centers. Children will choose from all these options to fill their mornings and afternoons.

This year, there will be times for large festive gatherings, as well as small-group activities.

And like every year, our entertainers are skilled and enthusiastic artists and experts!

Camp activities will be tailored to two age groups:

juniors, aged 4 to 5

13 kids per week

seniors, aged 10 to 12

15 kids per week

Dates : July 4 to August 25, 2023
Hours : 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

So, what you won’t see this year is our usual eight-week list of camp themes. This summer, every week and every day of camp will be a different experience!

The Summer Camps will be held at the École publique Pavillon de l’avenir, at 370 Côté Avenue, in Chelmsford. This year, we are adding camps in Chelmsford, at École publique de la Découverte, 1450 Main Street, Val Caron, and in Sudbury at École publique Jeanne-Sauvé, 300 Van Horne Street, as well as Collège Boréal, which will follow the same formula.

We will also have a few theme camps this year: the big two-week Drama Camp, the one-week LEGO Camp, which will be offered for 2 groups, and the one-week Dance Camp.

This year, you must provide lunch and snacks for your child. We want to make sure that their adventure with us is the best it can be. Therefore, personalized meals will meet their needs.

As we are a licensed program, we follow the Ministry of Education’s policies and guidelines along with Public Health regulations.
