Attendance policies

The Clé de Sol applies an attendance policy that is in line with that of a music studio’s.

  1. Upon registration, a $150 deposit is required. If lessons are abandoned once the session’s begun, the deposit is non-refundable. Sessions go from October to January and February to May. You’ll receive an invoice based on actual attendance at the end of each session.
  2. No refund is granted if you cancel a lesson, because Clé de Sol instructors keep a spot in their schedule for each student.
  3. If a school activity prevents lessons to be held, if buses are cancelled and the instructor cannot make it to school or must cancel the lesson, they have the option of rescheduling to another day that same week. Otherwise, you won’t have to pay for the cancelled lesson.
  4. If a lesson is rescheduled for another day and the student does not show up, you must pay for the missed lesson.

The Clé de Sol applies a new policy for newcomers:

If your child isn’t sure if they want to take piano or guitar lessons, but wants to try, we offer one free lesson on us! A preregistration form must be filled out before the initial meeting. To be considered registered and able to attend a second lesson, a $150 deposit is required.
